The Homepage

The homepage opens by immediately introducing the visitor to the author, and giving a concise introduction of exactly what to expect from Paulette’s work.

We then have a section that can be changed out to feature the newest or most prominent book. This includes a short description, as well as an immediate link to purchase.

The next section includes links out to where to purchase her body of work.

Then we wrap up with a few final calls to action to sign up for her newsletter, follow on Instagram, and learn a bit more about the author.

The footer (which shows on every page of the website) includes links to all of the main navigation pages, including her press kit, as well as a follow-up Newsletter CTA, and contact information.

The Books Section

The “Books” landing page includes a mockup of each of Paulette’s books in chronological order, with hover states on each image to make it clear to visitors that they’re clickable to get further information.

Each Individual book page includes an image and summary of the book, as well as comments from the author, and lots of glowing reviews (including a few extra special reviews that are called out with extra emphasis). Each individual book page also has multiple calls to action to purchase the book, with easy links to get to a bookseller.
